STEP 1 - ITAKE A BOWL, ADD BUTTER AND WHISK IT FOR A MINUTE. STEP 2 - POUR IN THE SUGAR AND WHISK UNTIL IT SLIGHTLY THICKENS. STEP 3 - NOW ADD EGGS, VANILLA ESSENCE AND CONTINUE TO WHISK UNTIL IT TURNS PALE AND FLUFFY. STEP 4 - ADD IN THE DRY INGREDIENTS AND CUT FOLD TO INCORPORATE THE BATTER WELL. STEP 5 - FINALLY ADD THE GRATED CARROT AND CUT FOLD. STEP 6 - TRANSFER THE MIXTURE IN A GREASED MOULD AND BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 180 DEGREES CELSIUS FOR 30-35 MINUTES.
