Ingredients:
Your Mango Cake Essentials
- 500 ml Full-Fat Milk
- 2 tsp Fresh Cream
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 2 tsp Weikfield Custard Powder (mango flavor)
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 16 pieces of Rusk Biscuits
- 1/4 cup chopped Almonds And Pistachios’ (optional)
For Sugar syrup:
- 1 bowl Sugar
- 2 bowls water
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder

Making the Custard:
- In a pan, boil the milk. Add 1/2 cup sugar and boil until it melts.
- Turn off the heat and let the milk cool slightly.
- In a bowl, whisk together 2 tsps of Weikfield Custard Powder, and 2/3 tsp of milk.
- Pour the mixture back into the pan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly.
- Once the mixture thickens and begins to simmer, turn off the heat.
- Let the custard cool slightly.
Making of Sugar Syrup
Add 1 bowl sugar to the pan. Pour two bowls of water and cook on low flame for 2/3 minutes. Your Sugar Syrup is ready.
Assembling the Cake:
- In a deep bowl, place the Rusk Toasts.
- Pour Sugar Syrup over it
- Pour half of the custard over the Rusk Toasts and spread evenly.
- Again top the layer with Rusk Toasts.
- Add the remaining Custard on theRusk Toasts and spread evenly.
- Garnish with chopped Almonds and Pasticcios.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Add a burst of color and freshness with chopped fruits. Mangoes and strawberries are classics, but experiment with berries, kiwi, or even pomegranate seeds.
